Monte Amnis Apartment is located in the quiet surroundings of Tatranska Strba at
the base of the western part of the High Tatras only 8 min walk from the Railway Station and The Electric Rack Railway locally called Zubacka. Zubacka runs directly to the tourist actractive glacial mountain lake Strbske Pleso and it also makes direct connection to Tatras Electric Railways operating on the route from Strbske Pleso to Tatranska Lomnica.
Thanks to its immediate connection to the highway Monte Amnis is excellent starting point for distant and local trips. The apartment can be easily reached from the highway, railway or surrounding airports.

Arriving from Vien / Bratislava / Praha / Ruzomberok / Kosice / Poprad onto highway D1, please take exit Strba / Strbske Pleso a follow via road 537 three minutes (1,6 km) to Tatranska Strba. At the intersection, turn left onto the road E50 (18) v smere na Važec. Follow the road about 700m and then turn right. (Just before the road sign indicating the end of the local part of Tatranska Štrba.)
TRAIN
Tatranska Strba Railway Station is break-of-gauge junction station serving the village of Strba. It is also a gateway to the High Tatras mountain range by Electric Rack Railway connecting Tatranska Strba and glacier lake Strbske Pleso.
It takes 10 min (800m/0.5mi) walk from the station to the apartment by the state road. Note: there is no side walk for pedestrians.
When reaching Poprad - Tatry Train Station, you can take connecting train to Tatranska Strba or taxi.
RACK/COG RAILWAY
It is operating directly from Tatranska Strba to Strbske Pleso, where it connects with Tatras Electric Railways (TEZ) serving between Strbske Pleso and Tatranska Lomnica.
The Cog Railway station is only an 8-minute walk from Monte Amnis along the driveway.
